Kaye Fox is a half kiwi, half Aussie chick. Before living in the Bay of Islands and Wellington, she lived in London, France and Brisbane doing stuff in offices. At the moment she spends her time in Oz running an arts-based business. In 2002 Kaye won a New Travel Writers award in New Zealand. This is her first children's book and she's never had so much fun.
Full-time artist and New Zealander, Mike Banks, has been doodling and illustrating something or other all his life. His whole family is full of artists. He's lived all over the world and the All Blacks are still his favourite rugby team.
This book is dedicated to Snoopy, a very special one-legged kiwi at The Native Bird Recovery Centre, Whangarei, and the tireless efforts of his guardian, Robert Webb.
A percentage of sales will be donated towards saving and protecting Aotearoa's national icon for future generations of kiwis.
